Privacy Policy

DQE LLC is a Delaware limited liability company based in Miami, Florida. We provide DQVerify, an address (processed with USPS CASS Certified software), email and phone validation service for businesses. DQVerify is offered to customers in the United States.

1.1 What this policy covers

This policy covers: (a) visitors to dqverify.com, including people who use the free demo widget; (b) people who create an account, sign in or buy credits through customer.dqverify.com; and (c) people who contact us by email, through our forms, or by booking a demo.

1.2 Our role for Validation Data

When a customer submits addresses, email addresses or phone numbers to the Service ("Validation Data"), we process that data on the customer's instructions as a service provider. The customer's own privacy policy governs that data. If you believe a DQVerify customer submitted your information, contact that customer; we will help them respond. Validation Data is governed by Section 9 of our Terms of Use .

This table lists the categories of personal information we collect, using the category names in the California Consumer Privacy Act, where it comes from, why we collect it, whether we sell or share it, and how long we keep it. Sections 3, 5 and 12 give the detail.

We do not collect biometric information, health information, precise geolocation, government identifiers, or the contents of your email or text messages (other than messages you send us). Payment card details are entered on Stripe's pages and are not stored by us. Validation Data submitted by customers is processed on their instructions and is not listed above; see Sections 1.2 and 3.4. To opt out of sharing, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer (see Section 8).

3.1 Account and sign-in

When you create an account we collect your work email address, first name, last name, company name, and the password you choose (account credentials). We require a business email address; personal webmail addresses are not accepted. After sign-up, you are redirected to the customer portal at customer.dqverify.com.

If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, profile image and a unique account identifier from the provider. We do not receive your password and do not request access to your email, files, contacts or calendar. The provider's own privacy policy governs your use of its sign-in.

3.2 Billing

When you buy credits, checkout runs on pages hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment card details; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of the purchase (module, credit volume, amount paid) and the billing details needed for invoicing and our records.

3.3 Free demo widget on dqverify.com

When you type an address, email address or phone number into the free demo, our server forwards it to our validation engine and returns the result to your browser. The website does not store what you typed. To prevent abuse, our server records your IP address in a rate-limiting store (currently 3 requests per module per 30-minute window). That record is deleted automatically when the window ends. Your browser keeps a small local flag (dqv_quota) that records only whether the free quota was reached; it holds no inputs and expires after about 6 hours.

3.4 Validation Data submitted through the platform, API or batch upload

Addresses, email addresses and phone numbers that customers submit through the platform, the API or a batch (CSV) upload are processed to return results. We use Validation Data only to return results and to operate and secure the Service. We do not retain the addresses, email addresses or phone numbers you submit once your request is complete. Batch results are available for download during your session and are then deleted. If you do not download them, they are still deleted.

3.5 Contact, sales, support and demo scheduling

When you email us or use our contact, sales or support forms, we collect what you give us: typically name, email address, company, team size and your message. When you book a demo through a "Schedule a call" link, scheduling is handled by Microsoft Bookings under the Microsoft 365 tenant of our affiliate DQE Software SAS. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to the booking page, and DQE Software receives the booking details you enter.

3.6 Information collected automatically

• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, may record standard request logs (IP address, browser details, time, requested URL) for the operation and security of the Service.
• Consent record. Cookiebot records your cookie choices in a first-party cookie and receives your IP address and browser details to do so.
• Site analytics and marketing tags. Google Tag Manager loads on our site. Non-essential tags load only after you consent. Page paths and site events (for example, opening the sign-up form or selecting a pricing option) are sent to the tags you consent to. Our events do not include names, email addresses or validation inputs. See Section 6.
• Fonts. Our web font is served from fonts.bunny.net, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the font file.

3.7 Marketing email

If you have an account or ask us for information, we may send you product updates or offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address. You can also unsubscribe by emailing support@dqverify.com. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days. You cannot opt out of service messages such as credit-balance notices, invoices, security notices and changes to our terms.

We use personal information to:

• Provide the Service - create and manage accounts, issue API keys, track credits, return validation results.
• Bill and keep records - process purchases through Stripe, issue invoices, meet tax and accounting rules.
• Prevent abuse and keep the Service secure - rate-limit the free demo, detect unauthorized access, investigate misuse, including misuse of USPS-licensed data.
• Support and communicate with you - answer questions, send service messages, and, subject to your ability to opt out, send marketing email.
• Measure and improve the site and the Service - analytics on how the site is used, based on your cookie choices.
• Market to businesses - measure advertising and, if you consent to marketing cookies, show you ads on other sites and identify the company a business visitor may belong to.
• Comply with law - respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms of Use, protect our rights and the rights of others.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Validation Data for any purpose other than returning results and operating and securing the Service. We do not use Validation Data to build marketing lists or to enrich other datasets.

We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers - companies that process information on our behalf and may use it only to provide their service to us. The current list is below.
• Our affiliate - DQE Software SAS, which provides the validation technology behind the Service (email, phone and international address validation) and whose Microsoft 365 tenant is used for demo scheduling.
• Our USPS-licensed data partner - the US address validation engine (USPS CASS Certified software) that processes US addresses submitted for validation.
• Advertising partners - if you consent to marketing cookies, Google Ads and LinkedIn may receive identifiers and internet-activity information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 8 for the California "sharing" disclosure.
• Legal and safety - where required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of DQE, our customers or others.
• United States Postal Service - if USPS false-positive detection is triggered on a list a customer submits, the customer's company name and address and the affected addresses are reported to USPS as the USPS license requires; those reports are kept for five years.
• Business transfers - in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be bound by this policy for the information transferred.
• At your direction - for example, when you connect a third-party platform.

5.1 Service providers and other recipients

List last updated September 16, 2026. We may add or replace service providers; we will update this list.

We use Cookiebot to ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set. Google Tag Manager is loaded on the site; in Cookiebot's automatic blocking mode, tags in the Statistics and Marketing categories run only after you consent. The tags that may load after consent are Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot and GetQuanty. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, its provider and how long it lasts. Cookiebot's banner shows the live, automatically scanned list; that list controls if it differs from the policy.

The site also stores two items in your browser's localStorage that are never sent to our servers: dqv_quota (whether the free demo quota was reached, about 6 hours) and vueuse-color-scheme (your display-mode setting: light, dark or automatic; the site currently sets it to automatic and reads it before the page paints, and it is kept until you clear it).

Google may collect information about your activity on this site and other sites through Google Analytics and Google Ads tags loaded via Google Tag Manager, subject to your consent choices. To learn how Google uses that information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the Cookiebot banner, or through your browser settings. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control: when your browser sends a GPC signal, Cookiebot applies it as an opt-out of marketing cookies and of the sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. A GPC signal applies to the browser and device on which you enable it. To opt out of marketing email as well, use the unsubscribe link or email support@dqverify.com.

• Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or email support@dqverify.com. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days.
• Cookies and advertising. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, send a Global Privacy Control signal, or adjust your browser settings. See Section 6 and the Cookie Policy.
• Account information. Update your details in the customer portal where that option is available, or email support@dqverify.com.
• Deletion. Email support@dqverify.com or legal@dqverify.com to close your account and delete your personal information, subject to the retention rules in Section 12 (for example, billing records we must keep for tax purposes).
• Access and correction. Email legal@dqverify.com. The rights in Sections 8 and 9 are available to everyone in the United States.

If you are a California resident, we honor the following rights regardless of whether we currently meet the thresholds that make a business subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act. The categories of personal information we collect, their sources, our purposes, and our retention periods are in Section 2. The categories of recipients are in Section 5.

8.1 Sale and sharing

In the preceding 12 months we disclosed the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 to the service providers listed in Section 5 for the business purposes described there.

8.2 Your rights

• Right to know - the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
• Right to delete - deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).
• Right to correct - correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing - use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or a Global Privacy Control signal. We honor opt-outs within 15 business days and will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information - the only sensitive personal information we collect is your account password, and we use it only to authenticate your account. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any other purpose, so no "Limit the Use" link is required.
• Right to non-discrimination - we will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.

8.3 How to submit a request

Email legal@dqverify.com with the subject "Privacy request". Tell us which right you are exercising and the email address associated with your account or your contact with us. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days; if we need more time we will tell you why and may take up to 45 additional days.

Verification. We verify requests by matching the information you provide with what we hold, for example by sending a confirmation link to the email address on your account. We may ask for more information if we cannot verify you.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. The agent must provide your signed written permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity directly with us. Opt-out requests through an agent do not require verification of your identity beyond that permission.

Shine the Light. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Do Not Track. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control.

Third-party tracking. If you consent to the Statistics or Marketing categories, Google and the other providers named in Section 6 may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Oregon) may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. We extend the request process in Section 8.3 to all US residents voluntarily and without claiming that any particular state law applies to us. We honor universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of targeted advertising and sale where applicable. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer your appeal within 45 days.

DQE hosts the DQVerify website, customer portal and account systems on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. US address validation (USPS CASS and DPV processing) is performed with USPS CASS Certified software operated by our licensed data partner on infrastructure in the United States, as the USPS license requires. Email validation, phone validation and international address validation are performed by our affiliate DQE Software SAS on infrastructure located in the European Union (France). Requests may be routed through DQE Software's infrastructure to reach the US address engine. Validation data is transmitted over encrypted connections, is processed in real time, and is not retained after your request is complete (see Section 12). By using the Service you consent to this processing.

Some of our service providers (for example our consent-management and rate-limiting providers) may process limited data, such as your IP address, in other countries.

The Service is offered to customers in the United States and is operated from the United States. If you visit the site or use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States (and, for validation processing, in the European Union as described above), where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service you consent to that processing. We do not currently offer the Service to persons in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse and alteration, appropriate to the nature of the data. In particular:

• Connections to dqverify.com and customer.dqverify.com are encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS).
• Payment card data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.
• API keys and account passwords are secrets. Keep them confidential and tell us at once if you believe one has been compromised.
• Access to personal information is limited to personnel and service providers who need it to do their work.
• Our affiliate DQE Software SAS, which develops and operates the validation technology behind DQVerify, holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification issued by BSI (certificate IS 845668; scope: edition of a data quality management software; valid to August 25, 2029).

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of security affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any regulators as required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, then delete it or make it anonymous. Current periods:

Information subject to a legal hold or needed to resolve a dispute is kept until the hold is released or the dispute is resolved.

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and because the Service is for businesses we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email legal@dqverify.com and we will delete it.

Our site links to third-party sites and services, including Microsoft Bookings for scheduling, Stripe for checkout, marketplace listings for our integrations, and social networks. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

We may update this policy when our practices, vendors or the law change. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date and "last updated" date, and we review it at least once every 12 months. For material changes that reduce your rights, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
